It's been a while since I posted an update here — sorry about that! Here's what I've been up to:
- I helped relaunch Silicon Sasquatch, the blog I helped start back in 2008. The whole crew is back at it after a long hiatus, and we're still writing about the cultural relevance and impact of games. Check it out and follow us on Facebook and Twitter for updates!
- I've kicked off a new meetup group here in Portland called Wayward Game Developers. If you're in the Portland area and want to learn how to start making games, look us up and reach out sometime!
- I'm still hammering away at games in my spare time, and I've also begun hosting repositories of my work publicly on GitHub account. I don't have much to share just yet on the games that are actively in development, but I'm really excited for both Trash Kings and my as-yet-untitled game that I kicked off for the recent Game Boy Jam. (Even though I missed the deadline for submission, I'm excited to keep building it out.)
- I also updated my portfolio with a writeup of an abandoned game that I can't wait to get back to. It's called The Stumptown Trail. I really hope I get the chance to finish it someday.
I hope to have some more updates soon, but in the meantime, look for my articles over on Silicon Sasquatch. Thanks for checking in!
