Skeal is not the game I want to stake my reputation on.
It's a clunky, stupid single-joke game—and it's not even that funny of a joke. But it made people laugh, and some of those people told their friends. And then Rock, Paper, Shotgun wrote an article about it, and...yeah. I don't really know what happened there.
There's no doubt that, up to this point, Skeal has been by far my most popular game. But I'm of the opinion that Skeal has had its moment in the spotlight, and so I've decided to retire it for now.
In the meantime, go play Room of 1000 Snakes. It's a stroke of genius, the strongest source of inspiration behind Skeal, and—as far as I'm concerned—a perfect game.
